JAIPUR: Giving importance to feedback of patients, health department will introduce IT-based ‘Mera Aspataal application’ to collect patients’ feedback about their experiences in community health services (CHCs).
The health department is taking measures to find gaps in service delivery to the patients coming to CHCs. The application has already been launched at the Centre’s level. It was launched, with an aim, to find a mechanism to gauze patient reaction to the services offered in the hospital and help improve the services by taking corrective measures.
According to Centre’s performance analysis report of Mera Aspataal for period September 2016 to January 2019, there were 24% of patients were dissatisfied with the services offered at the public health facilities in different states. Major Reasons for dissatisfaction were staff behaviour, cost of treatment and cleanliness issues and other reasons like, long waiting time, overcrowding, inadequate information and lack of amenities.
