KOPPAL: A 105-year-old Kamalamma Linganagouda Hiregoudra of Kataraki village has become talk of the district, which is one of coronavirus hotspots in the state, after getting cured from Covid-19.
As the elderly woman had a fever, she had undergone a corona test and had tested positive to the Covid. However, she is said to be refused to be hospitalised.
Her grandson Dr Srinivas Hyati, who treated her, said that it was challenging a job to treat her at home.
"However, she had no other health issues and that was a great advantage for us to treat like any other Covid-19 patient. She was not worried about the virus but cooperated to the treatment as usual at home isolation" he shared.
Her family sources said that she had sacrificed to consume food saying her life is about to end. "But we forced her to consume 'ganji' (porridge) and water along with prescribed medicines," they added.
