A clinic in Hyderabad was sealed in Hyderabad after the doctor there claimed that he can cure COVID-19.

A clinic in Hyderabad was sealed following a complaint that the doctor there has invented a cure to COVID-19. The doctor also claimed that there is no need to wear a mask. As per the government, wearing a mask or a cotton cloth is one of the ways to control the spread of the virus.

A report in The Times of India suggests that the clinic in Warangal Urban was sealed following a complaint. “He is also going for home visits of coronavirus patients and giving treatment and asking them not to wear a mask and putting their life and others’ lives at risk,” the complaint from branch president Dr Kothagattu Srinivas read as.

The health ministry is yet to find a cure to COVID-19. There were reports that Indian officials might invent a medicine by August 15 but the medicine for the infection will only be available at the end of the year.

The officials have been conducting tests trial on patients. The health officials across the globe are working hard to find a cure to COVID-19 and the public is still waiting for positive news. COVID-19 has wreaked havoc across the globe and has claimed over 7 lakh lives. Nearly 2 crore people have contracted the virus so far.

With nearly 5 million cases, the US has been the worst-hit country with COVID-19. Brazil, with nearly three million cases, comes at the second spot. India has also been witnessing a higher number of cases on a daily basis and sits at the third spot with nearly 2 million cases. Russia, South Africa, Mexico, Peru, Chile, Spain and Colombia are next on the top 10 list.

Talking of Hyderabad, the worst-hit city in Telangana once again witnessed over 500 new cases of COVID-19 patients. The number of cases has come down there but it remains to be the worst-hit district there.
